Recipient – Term used to describe an individual enrolled in Florida Medicaid to receive services.
Group Home / Facility– Facilities providing room and board and other services to waiver recipients.
Provider – Term used to describe any entity, facility, person, or group who is enrolled in the Medicaid program and provides services to Medicaid recipients and bills Medicaid for services.
Agency – A business or organization enrolled to provide waiver services, that has two or more employees to carry out the enrolled service, including the agency owner. An agency or group provider for rate purposes is a provider that employs staff to perform waiver services.
